The process paper Nicer Than a Bullet by Craig Hubley, explores the limits of non-violence as it applies within political party and national electoral circles. It explores the negative campaign tactics, dirty tricks, the use of lies, rumours, innuendo, lawsuits, leaks and other methods.

This generic paper is intended to be a general discourse on the requirement of politics to manage violence, and the way that this necessitates actions that may be considered to be psychologically (though not physically) abusive or violent.
