self-image

A person's self-image is how they see their own person and identity. It is subject to many challenges such as risk of bodily harm and privacy - control of information flow about and around the body. It is subject to grave risks of overconfidence and arrogance especially if you are a leader and believe your own press releases.

An organization's self-image is composed of self-claims - those claims that it makes about itself or does not challenge when made by insiders. A self-organized system handles these claims in a reflexive way, ensuring that they do not go unchallenged or even unexamined.

Living Platform itself has changed its mission to some degree as a result of such shifts in its self-image, most notably to make a full position protocol its overall goal.
