Seedwiki is proprietary annoying wiki technology, that has only the following merits relative to tikiwiki:

1. It's free

2. It supports commas and apostrophes (and several annoying types of spaces!) in page names making naming conventions from Wikipedia applicable. Links are in single square brackets at least, not the double square bracket standard, but still a step closer to reality than the absurd double-parentheses - see tikiwiki flaws.

3. It's simple, and does not force anyone to learn any unnecessary words, i.e. Edit Page, Discuss Page, Page Versions, Recent Changes, the full Directory of that wiki, and Help, are literally the only commands there are. One can see Links to Page or "ReverseLink" or "What Links Here" as well. No login is required, and no IP address is revealed for anonymous contributors.

4. New seedwikis can be set up at http://seedwiki.com instantly, within a minute

5. Several Green groups are already using it, successfully, including most especially the Green Party of Nova Scotia and Halifax Greens who are preparing their 2004 and 2005 platforms right now using it. To see their progress: http://www.seedwiki.com/page.cfm?doc=RecentChanges&wikiid=3339

The merits of seedwiki relative to mediawiki or GetWiki are minimal, so if these become available via GlobalGreens (which presently only hosts mailing lists and has rejected drupal CMS already) the seedwiki content can migrate.
