infrastructural capital

Manufactured or infrastructural capital is what is usually meant by the word "capital" in micro-economics when it does not refer to financial capital.

Sometimes the word "physical" is unwisely used - which is confusing as natural capital is also physical, and so are human bodies - individual capital.

Most theorists believe that it is over-valued relative to natural capital, social capital and instructional capital, given how rapidly it can often now be replaced with sufficient information, trust, and natural resources.

See styles of capital, Natural Capitalism and Beyond GAAP for analysis of infrastructural capital.
