globally prominent person

A globally prominent person profiled at openpolitics.ca itself will usually be:
  • involved directly in global politics itself, e.g. a Cabinet Minister or Leader of a country, especially if unelected, e.g. Scott McClellan
  • if continuing in the public eye in media or non-profit work, or strongly associated with current politicians, they need not hold public office to be worth profiling, e.g. Bill Bennett, Jacques Parizeau
  • very visible in the media for other reasons and also the focus of a political issue or question or case, e.g. Kate Moss

Refer links to a neutral point of view biography of them, e.g. at Wikipedia, are very strongly recommended. Add such links if they are not visible on profiles.
