federal political party

The organizations in Canada which claim to be a federal political party are:

The Bloc Quebecois insists that it is an agent or arm of the Parti Quebecois, and acts only to convey the goals of the Quebec National Assembly to the federal government in Ottawa, which it proposes should not exist.

Of the above, only the BQ and NDP are affiliated with any provincial party. However, while the BQ takes its orders from the PQ, the NDP-CA issues orders to the various provincial parties and expects obedience from them. Dspite the legal structure to prevent this, the Green Party of Canada has recently emulated the NDP model and attempted to control the Green Party of Ontario and its officers, nominations, and decisions.
