Principle:

Proposed changes in our democratic process must involve broad and inclusive Canadian input, consultation and consensus. Furthermore, changes must be made incrementally so that the essential functioning of government is not disrupted.

Responsibilites of the Committee

  • to identify federal issues reguarding democracy, public sector governance, privacy, ethics, and accountability to taxpayers, residents and voters.
  • to look ahead and prepare press releases on upcoming events and legislation
  • to educate GPC members on policy issues and upcoming events.
  • to monitor and evaluate other parties planks and proposals.
