An argument for a position should focus on:
- how contradicting the position leads to regret especially for those advancing it
- Note that an argument against is much more focusing on seeking advantages by contradiction and may use case-based argument more easily
- how slight changes to the position become indefensible
- how artifacts embodying the position remain part of the context from which the position is taken
- how portable the position is to other contexts
- anecdotes, though this is weak evidence "for"
