Integrated Community Sustainability Plan

An Integrated Community Sustainability Plan is a term defined by Infrastructure Canada and the Federation of Canadian Municipalities. It is a plan to deliver existing services with less energy, materials and human transport, and in some services (e-government) less human intervention.

Some experts assert that only an evergreen business plan can possibly remain current with opportunities provided by technology advances and shifting industry needs as Canada moves towards a "green economy".

Preparation of such plans is directly supported by the Green Municipal Fund operated by FCM, IC and others.
