Responsibilities of the Workgroup
  • to plan improvements in the GPC Platform and Living Platform
  • to execute current IT projects
  • to advise GPC members on IT best practices. e.g. specification of a single recommended desktop hardware configuration such as the Green Bay box, reccomended software and practices for use by GP officers or activists in carrying out their duties such as green systems guidelines
  • to critique internal practices from the point of view of Green policies, so that we eat our own dog food: do what we advise others to be doing, e.g. if we say government should use free software we must use it first

Workgroup members

All workgroup members should be registered with the it-gpc listserve, you can view the members list there.

Meetings

This workgroup has not scheduled regular teleconference meetings. Watch the listserve for notices. All meeting announcements should be linked here.

Minutes

This committee hasn't held meetings yet (whew!) . When meetings are held, the minutes will be at the same URI as the original meeting was, so the meeting has the same address both before and after the meeting.
