A wikifight is not as unpleasant to watch as a flame war? on a listserve? or a discussion board?, but it is unpleasant to particpate in.
A wikifight is a nasty style of debate by edit where two or more participants at odds with each other ridicule, revert, or deform each others edits.
Wikifights typically occur over content that is supposed to be in a neutral point of view, and is also known in wikipedia as a neutrality dispute.
Rather than engage in wikifights, the wiki best practice is to resolve disputes in an issue challenge where all sides can go on at length about how right they are, and others may score or referee the debate as they please.
