power network

A power network is an alliance of social networks that seeks police?, political or military? power - typically to protect some common capital asset base that the social networks share. This alliance may be based on some social contract such as a political party's constitution or it may rely on a looser basis for unity or statement of principles.

A power network almost always involves an explicit power structure but this may not be a conventional command hierarchy, even if it uses command verbs to issue its power-creating or -preserving orders to those who participate. For more on this see power structure and list of human command verbs.
