personal ethic

A personal ethic commits someone to value some right or other good thing higher than something else, e.g. to prefer to respect one over another, or tolerate? loss of the higher value thing less than the lower value thing (in one's personal view).

Economics is built on such preferences?. Thus a brand ethic helps customer?s decide which is closest to their personal ethic, and buy what reflects their own personal values.

By examining individual buying criteria, individual investing criteria?, political personality, Meyers-Briggs? profile, dating service profile? and voting record?, it might be possible to discover some one else's personal ethic.

And potentially to contrast it against some institutional buying criteria, political ideology, religious ideology?, other ethical code or even a universal green ethic?, to determine ideal group membership?s. This is how the political personality test works.
