An urban issue is one that affects those who live in towns and cities predominately. Often gun control, racism, smog and transit? are cited as urban issues. It is contrasted to so-called rural issue?s which in Canada is defined as any municipality with under 150,000 people. The process of resolving urban issues is urban development? and contrasts with rural development.
