Economic policy
In politics, the term economic policy is widely used and loosely defined. It can include any or all of the following:
- fiscal policy - including budgeting of public debt and government expenditure and managing revenue with tax policy.
- monetary policy - including managing inflation, interest rates, currency etc.
- economic development including industrial policy?, investment?, human resources, and employment
- trade policy? - reguarding international treaties, tarrifs, subsidies and export development?.
