An argument for a position should focus on:
  • how contradicting the position leads to regret? especially for those advancing it
    • Note that an argument against is much more focusing on seeking advantages by contradiction and may use case-based argument? more easily
  • how slight changes to the position become indefensible
  • how artifacts embodying the position remain part of the context from which the position is taken
  • how portable the position is to other contexts
  • anecdote?s, though this is weak evidence "for"
