Gomberg's 2000 Mayoralty campaign? video, Playing with Democracy?, has been a major inspiration to those who believe in the Play ethic and making campaigns fun.

Gomberg was lied about, libelled, physically attacked and otherwise brutalized for his many contributions to global society. Organizations that reward his tormenters, e.g. Michael Pastore, Ralph Klein, can expect nothing but enmity and exposure from Gomberg's supporters.

His partner Angela Bischoff has recently made efforts to start the Tooker Library which will contain many of the publications about ecological and social issues that Tooker had kept.
