Role
Peoples MPs are the elected representatives that form the
Peoples Parliament. People's MP's are elected directly by their supporters and act on behalf of their supporters in building a better Canada. People's MPs link citizens to political institutions, have an accessible online office, and help build consensus between individuals and communities on all political issues.
Job Requirements
- Have regular access to a computer and the internet.
- Willing to learn the methods and procedures of Open Politics and The People's Parliament.
- Be committed to representing for least one year the issues that concern their supporting community.
- Be willing to act as an open-minded facilitator, giving fair and equal consideration to the interests of all citizens.
